Hey guys, Here is my long-overdue post. I am so sorry for not posting recently; as a higher education administrator, this is our busiest time of the year. I also find that during this time of year, there is an increase in school activities. Nevertheless, I have some really exciting projects planned for spring/summer and I can’t wait to share them with you. Spring is my absolute favorite season: the weather is perfect, the flowers are blooming, you can hear the birds chirping (exhale!), and the girls can finally play outside. If you love tulips like we do and are ever in Baltimore in early spring, you must visit Sherwood Gardens. It’s also a great place to have a picnic with the little ones. OUTFIT My spring floral dress was purchased from Asos. Floral prints are in again and I am here for it! I also love the fact that this dress […]
Hey darlings, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! My family and I are enjoying time with our family in Georgia. I am obsessed with Fall and I am also obsessed with dusters. Who else is obsessed with fall? Here are four statement pieces I believe you should have this winter. Xoxo, Kay
My husband and I are fans of Amazon. Our schedules are so busy that we rarely have time to go to the store, so most of the time when we need something we order it online at Amazon.com and it arrives within two days. We have Amazon’s Prime membership and have also subscribed to their Subscribe and Save program. So on a monthly basis, we get several boxes from Amazon with all the necessities for our house that we would normally purchase at the big-box stores like Costco or BJ’s (toilet paper, paper towels, lotions, soaps, detergents, etc.). It’s easy, convenient and the service is the best. Who else is an Amazon fan? I was beyond excited when Amazon announced Amazon Wardrobe. What is Amazon Wardrobe, you ask? Amazon Wardrobe is their new clothes shopping service that allows you to try before you buy. You do not have to pay […]

The people who know me best know that I am always looking for a bargain on quality products, especially clothes. I am a big fan of designer consigning. Consigning is an excellent way to make smart and sustainable choices all while making money. I have sold to and bought from a few designer consignment retailers but the The RealReal is by far my favorite. The RealReal is an online (who has time to do in person shopping anymore?) consignment retailer that offers authentic designer items at affordable prices. Their prices are amazing and if you sign up for their email list, you will receive emails regarding their flash sales. They also offer unique and hard-to-find designer pieces, and shipping is really fast. I say The RealReal is a WinWin! Check out my Fall wish list from The RealReal below. Hey all, Work has been so crazy so I have not had a chance to post recently (this is still my hobby). Anyway, I wanted to remind everyone of a very important tip when buying clothes: my good friend once told me that you should never buy clothes in its season. So, now is the time to buy summer clothes! Most stores are busy putting out their fall wear so mostly all summer items are currently on sale. I recently visited H&M and bought these fab pieces for my girls and myself for under $20: Textured weave dress – $10 in the store (perfect for a date with the hubby) For the girls – only $4.99 Jersey dress Old Navy and TJ Maxx are also having a big summer sale. All the outfits the girls and I are wearing are from TJ Maxx, Old Navy and H&M for a total […]
My absolute favorite look for Spring is a relaxed off-the-shoulder dress. Spring is really about colors and comfort. I chose to wear this Jessica Simpson off-the-should dress on our family adventure to the nature center. I also love dressing my girls in bright, comfortable dresses for Spring. I hope everyone is enjoying Spring as much as we are.
