Hey all, Work has been so crazy so I have not had a chance to post recently (this is still my hobby). Anyway, I wanted to remind everyone of a very important tip when buying clothes: my good friend once told me that you should never buy clothes in its season. So, now is the time to buy summer clothes! Most stores are busy putting out their fall wear so mostly all summer items are currently on sale. I recently visited H&M and bought these fab pieces for my girls and myself for under $20: Textured weave dress – $10 in the store (perfect for a date with the hubby) For the girls – only $4.99 Jersey dress Old Navy and TJ Maxx are also having a big summer sale. All the outfits the girls and I are wearing are from TJ Maxx, Old Navy and H&M for a total […]
Hi guys, I wanted to write a post about living in Baltimore since Baltimore has received such a bad representation in the media. My husband and I and our two girls relocated to Baltimore last July because of a fantastic work opportunity my husband received. I honestly didn’t know what to think at first about moving to Baltimore given all the bad media. However, I knew my husband was excited about this opportunity so I really wanted to support him. I am also one who is pro-change and like experiencing new things, so the move was really not hard for me. Despite the concerns from our family regarding the move to Baltimore we sold our home in New Jersey and moved to Charm City. After all, my husband’s soon-to-be co-workers reassured him that Baltimore was not as bad as what’s been reported in the media. After one year […]
Stripes, stripes and more stripes. That is basically what I see in stores for spring. Stripes are back and are on so on trend. My favorite stripe trend is the off -the-shoulder top. I have paired it with a black jeans skirt, however, this top can be worn with any bottom. They also go really well with jeans. It’s the perfect top that can be dressed up or down. So go and have fun with stripes.
My absolute favorite look for Spring is a relaxed off-the-shoulder dress. Spring is really about colors and comfort. I chose to wear this Jessica Simpson off-the-should dress on our family adventure to the nature center. I also love dressing my girls in bright, comfortable dresses for Spring. I hope everyone is enjoying Spring as much as we are.

Now, no more staring through the window at a designer store or feeling envy after checking out the glossy magazine pages.
